Chimpundu lodge is  a newly constructed semi-luxury lodge found in the heart of the re-nowned Kibale national park in western Uganda in Fort portal for ultimate chimpanzee tracking safaris in Uganda. The lodge is set in the perfect position for guests  who want to explore the close  four national parks that is, Queen, Kibale forest, Rwenzori and Semiliki national parks.  Chimpundu lodge is convenient and affordable to  guests with the breathtaking views of the  forest  and surrounding areas.  You can be at the lodge by road transport from Kampala which takes approximately 4-5 hours drive and an hour to fly from Entebbe international airport to Kasese airstrip then few minutes (an hour)to be transferred to the lodge .

Chimpundu lodge  consists of over 10 spacious and comfortable  sound proofed rooms built in African traditional style with natural materials of  local woods.  Rooms are well elevated with raised wooden platform decorated and furnished  with en- suite private facilities of clean flushing Toilets, hot and cold showers , comfortable beds that are wrapped with mosquito nets, television, chairs, free toiletries, complementary bottled water in the rooms,  wooden tables  and many more. Rooms  have  sitting areas, terraces and wooden private balconies overlooking  the forest  canopy. There are always fire places in the living rooms where guests relax and share experiences about the safari, it also  provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.  Rooms varies in different categories (standards and deluxe) and sizes depending on single, double, twin, triple with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above.  Rates vary depending on seasons, during peak season the rate always go high than low season.

Chimpundu lodge offers different  facilities and services  which include;  On-site  restaurant that serves  delicious types of Menu   both local and international meals to meets guests appetite;  Continental breakfast in the rooms, Picnic lunch and a 3 course   dinner in the main building  served by well trained and organized  staff,  Breakfast  as you enjoy the morning sunrise.
